Christmas Gift Ideas

These are the gifts that I have bought for my family, I'm sorry that there isn't a huge range and I also have more men to shop for but I guess most the gifts are uni sex. I have put this together to hopefully help and inspire you if you're stuck with some off your Christmas Shopping!
I am also going to have to ask for Conor and my family not to read this because these are all there gifts!!

First of all Chocolates!! They are nice and easy and you can get everyone some chocolate just as a little side gift, that's what I like to do just because everyone likes chocolate!! It also isn't very expensive so if you're on a tight budget then there is nothing wrong with buying someone there favourite treat!

This first one is for my sisters fiancé, he loves playing golf so buying him something wasn't to hard! It's nice and easy when someone has a hobby!! This is an indoor electric golf putting machine and I know he will love this! My sister however maybe not so much!

This one is for my Dad he loves any kind of puzzle/challenge so when I saw these I knew they would be prefect for him! They are a great little toy gift and there are so many different types that I'm sure you could find one that would suit you best!

This would be perfect for anyone really, who doesn't love a tiny drone?? I think it's a great little gift for someone to have a little play around with, and everyone at Christmas can join in and have a laugh when nan crashes it into the tv.

This one hurts my heart a little bit! I have wanted a gift set like this from benefit for absolutely ages!! But I love my sister enough to buy it and not keep it for myself! These gift sets are AMAZING for anyone you may know who is into make-up I know that if I received this I would probably cry!

My mum is a complete candle addict! We have hundreds and hundreds of candles all around the house, mum will pop out for a loaf of bread and come home with 10 candles... But I love candles too so it isn't a problem, just a bit of a fire hazard! Mum also loves her melts and I think they are a great present because sometimes Yankee Candle can be a little bit expensive, and you can't justify buying them for yourself! But if someone gifts them to you then it's okay!!

Lastly but not least!! If you have any pets then don't forget them this Christmas, we always get Aisha presents and treats! She is part of the family and we like her to join in the festive fun, I bought this huge treat for just £4 which I think is a pretty reasonable price! (I can put the price up for this because she won't ever read it) This will probably be gone by Boxing Day but I know she will love it!

I hope I helped with inspiring you for your Christmas shopping! I think one of my favourite parts of Christmas is buying  everyone gifts because I get so excited knowing how much they will love them!

DIY Christmas tree decor

This is the cutest little DIY decor! I'm absolutely in love with these and I have the both on my book shelf, just making my room that little bit more festive, and homemade products are always the best kind!

First of all you're going to need some card, string, green paint, PVA glue, wire and mini decorations of your choice. You will also need sissors and a glass bottle or something similar!

First of all I'm going to show you the less messy DIY!
To begin with you're going to use the card to create a cone and tape into place, you will then need the green wire, and you're just going to wrap the wire around the cone until you're happy with the shape!

Once you're happy with the shape of you're tree you can take it off the cone and you should be left with a crazy spiral of wire, you can also shape the wire now cause it may not stay in perfect shape!
You're next going to get a hot glue gun, or any type of glue and you are going to stick on some decorations of your choice!!

TADAAA! You now have a gorgeous little Christmas tree decoration!

Next is the messy more creative decoration, seriously, prepare to get paint and glue everywhere!!
First of all you're going to need to paint your string green, this step can obviously be missed if you just get green string!

Once the paint has dried you are going to need something that resembles a Christmas tree shape to wrap the string around, keeping in mind you will need to peel it off! I chose to use a bottle and I just covered that in PVA glue and started wrapping my string all around it! Leave that to completely dry and you can go and clean everything up.

Once it has dried you're going to have to fight it off!! This took me a good 20 minutes, but I'm happy with it!! Also don't worry if it's a bit messy it's homemade so that's okay!
Next is decoration, again I just used my hot glue gun and stuck on some miniature Christmas lights and pom poms with a star on top. You can use whatever you want.

These are what my two trees look like, I don't think I have a favourite, but the wire tree is defiantly quicker and easier! If you decide to make these I would love to see your creations, they will probably be 10X better than mine!

Homemade Pizza

Last weekend I went to visit my Best friend Charlotte and her boyfriend Jonathan at their uni, and we had the funniest weekend ever, I really have missed this girl A LOT!!! For dinner we decided to make our own pizza, we thought it would be a bit of fun and pizza is always yummy!!
We popped out to the shops and bought a lot of different toppings and we also bought dough making kits, cause we are lazy! It went really well, for some of us...

I feel like cheese is the most important ingredient when making pizza, so we decided on cheddar and mozzarella, I love mozzarella and what we didn't use me and charlotte just ate!!

We also bought a good selection of veg, we had red onion, sweet peppers, chives, garlic and pineapple.

(This is actually a picture from Charlottes snapchat but it's proof that we did kind of "make" the dough, we added water and I mixed it all together to form a dough!!)

Once the dough was at a good consistency I split it up into three 'equal' balls and then the fun started!!

Jonathan decided to go for a THICK crust...

Once we had shaped our dough we then smothered our bases in tomato puree.

I feel like my creation is very colorful and just looks damn yummy!!

Charlotte went for a rustic homemade look staying away from the typical pizza circle!! She also spend about half an hour (not really that long) carefully placing each topping on her pizza, so in the end I helped her and threw stuff on.

They tasted sooo good!!! Im getting hungry writing this post but ohh my I want that pizza right now!
Both me and charlotte just went for a bit of everything, but I didn't use any ham.

Maybe avoid THICK crust otherwise you end up like poor Jonathan here, un-patiently waiting for his dough to cook!!

Finally Jonathans' was ready, after a loooonnngggg wait! He had gone for a Ham and pineapple pizza with some seriously thick crust!

I will defiantly be doing this again and maybe even venturing out a bit more and trying out some different ways! I hope you have enjoyed this post and it hasn't made you too hungry. I am going to go and eat now.
